The MOH Foundation is a Singapore headquartered foundation with NPO partners in the APAC region. It has heavy investments in mainland China. In order to amplify its impact, the foundation needs to build the capacity of its grantees in addition to the programme funding.
Gender Development in Shanxi (GDS) is one of the key national partners for the MOH Foundation. Though their programme is very solid, it lacks technology investment to help them scale.
Empact was engaged to perform a tech needs assessment for GDS and provided recommendations to its Tech strategies, road map and action plan. Through a 3 months project, a comprehensive needs assessment was conducted and together with employee survey covering the whole organisation. The project was highly valued by both the MOH Foundation and GDS as it gave them the insights for scaling their impact.
