The work involved
With the advancements in cashless technology (e.g. PayLah, FavePay, NETS QR), NCSS and EMPACT jointly identified this as an opportunity to improve the productivity of social service agencies.Â
70 organisations were onboarded to streamline their donation collection processes via cashless technologies. A series of workshops were conducted to provide decision makers with information on cashless technologies that may be most suited for their needs, and also prepare stakeholders on the changes that may be required for the implementation of the technology.Â
Results of our work
Of the 58 organisations which implemented one or more cashless technologies, a total of $879k cost savings was generated. This amounted to approximately $15k of savings per organisation.
