Association of Muslim Professionals Singapore (AMP) is a registered charity with IPC status with the mission to serve the Muslim community. In 2026, AMP will be celebrating its 35th anniversary since inception. Hence, they engaged Empact to facilitate a strategic review of AMP, as an organisation and group, to better position itself vis-Ã -vis the evolving social service landscape in Singapore for the next 5-10 years.
The work involved
With a large, diverse group as AMP, our approach is to listen and engage various relevant stakeholder groups for AMP and include their voices in the development strategic plan, while using the platform to promote engagement between AMP Management and the organisation’s various stakeholders. The work will involve:Â
Benchmarking, an internal assessment of AMP and study of various local and international peer organisations
Interviews with AMP’s Board Members, Founding Members, Management Team, Donors
Focus groups with key AMP staff
Engagement of Beneficiaries
Workshops, to discuss strategic plan and facilitate co-creation of strategic plan, and ensure alignment across AMP group

Results of our Work
Assisted AMP to prioritise and establish its core impact area (programme pillars) and key measurement of success for the next 5-10 years. The process requires high level of stakeholder management. Empact will facilitate engagements between AMP leadership, key staff, board members, donors and beneficiaries.
