Discover On My Way Programme: Career Mentorship with Linklaters

Client: Linklaters and National Youth Council (NYC)

In partnership with Linklaters and the National Youth Council (NYC), Empact delivered a high-impact Career Mentorship Workshop as part of the Discovery On My Way (DOMW) platform. The session was attended by 34 youths, primarily undergraduates and polytechnic students, who were looking to gain clearer career direction and confidence for their transition from school to the workforce.

The 2-hour in-person session at the Linklaters office featured a "Human Library" panel, where professionals shared authentic stories of their career journeys, followed by intimate small group mentoring. To ensure maximum impact, Empact conducted pre-event profiling to match mentors and mentees based on professional backgrounds and interests, allowing volunteers to provide targeted advice on resume reviews, interview tips, and industry insights.
