The Volunteer Management Sandbox Series is a collaborative initiative with the National Council of Social Services aimed at addressing critical knowledge gaps in the volunteer management sector. The objective of the sandbox series is to engage a group of up to 60 VMs per workshop, to collectively develop and improve content to address knowledge gaps faced by the sector.Â
The desired outcomes for each workshop include:
Foster the spirit of collaboration and camaraderie between participants
Enhance the participants’ understanding on the topic and the challenges within
Enhance problem solving capabilities of participants
Ideate and develop knowledge resources for the sector
Ignite the spirit of innovation and empowerment within participants
Each of the workshops in the series focused on one key topic, where discussion points and insights were developed into knowledge resources for the learning of the sector.
