The Work Involved
Empact worked with DBS Foundation in 2022 to develop the Foundation’s first Impact Measurement Framework for its Grant Programme supporting social enterprises in Asia.
The framework aimed to guide the collection of business growth and impact data from grantees, and aggregate the data to provide greater insights on the collective impact of the Grant Programme. The framework consisted of clearly defined impact goals and focal areas, impact measurement indicators, and broad-based performance metrics that improve aggregation of overall impact. This would facilitate a streamlined end-to-end process for impact investing and reporting.
Results of our Work
The Framework, toolkit and user guide developed would support the Foundation and its grantees in tracking impact, ensure consistent and meaningful data collection, and enhance analysis and reporting for management and annual reports.
